In a significant step toward bolstering regional clean energy collaboration, a prominent business delegation from the Philippines recently arrived in China to conduct an immersive, on-site tour of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The visit centered on exploring next-generation renewable energy applications, including Solar EV Charging Stations, specifically tailored to address the surging global demand for sustainable transport infrastructure.
Demystifying the Mechanics of Solar-Driven Mobility
During the technical showcase, Deven provided a comprehensive breakdown of a 354kW / 261kWh PV-Storage-Charging project proposal. He explained how the carport structure utilizes high-efficiency 590W N-type solar modules. These advanced panels, boasting a 22.84% conversion efficiency and high bifaciality, capture solar irradiance and convert it into direct current (DC) electricity. This power is managed via 6 combiner units and directed to a central DC Storage All-In-One Machine.
Addressing the technical integration, Deven highlighted the core of the system: a 261kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO_4) battery bank paired with a 125kW bi-directional PCS inverter. "Our DC coupling architecture ensures maximum efficiency," Deven noted to the clients. "The system interfaces directly with a 120kW dual-gun DC Fast Charger and six 7kW AC charging piles. When solar output drops, the smart microgrid draws from the stored energy reserves or intelligently balances the load with the utility grid to guarantee seamless vehicle turnover."
Bright Horizons for Solar EV Infrastructure in the Philippines
The presentation concluded with a collaborative dialogue focused on the immense market potential of solar EV carports across the Philippine archipelago. Given the country's abundant solar resource and its accelerating regulatory shift toward electric mobility, both parties recognized that decentralized infrastructure independent of vulnerable traditional grids holds a distinct strategic advantage.
As urban centers like Manila and Cebu transition toward greener transport, decentralized, climate-resilient solutions like D.T. MULTI TECH's IP54-rated outdoor storage and high-intensity carports offer a perfect dual-use remedy. They allow local businesses to insulate themselves from high commercial electricity rates while actively supporting EV adoption. Our Philippine guests expressed exceptional confidence in the technical architecture demonstrated by Deven, marking this visit as a vital milestone for upcoming sustainable infrastructure deployments in their home country.
