
China's first intelligent inspection large model for solar cells unveiled :
Recently, Wuhan Aijiang Technology Co., Ltd. launched "Xinghan AI", China's first intelligent inspection large model for solar cells. Combining machine vision with artificial intelligence technology, this model covers photovoltaic cell products such as crystalline silicon and perovskite tandem cells. It can increase the inspection efficiency of photovoltaic cell equipment by more than 12 times, with a defect recognition accuracy rate of 98.7%. It reduces the inspection cost of the photovoltaic cell industry by 40% and fills the gap in China's multi-modal intelligent inspection field for photovoltaic cells.
Alxa photovoltaic project adopts intelligent robots :
The 1 million-kilowatt photovoltaic project in Alxa High-tech Zone, participated in by China Energy Engineering Group Gezhouba Group, has used China's first multi-modal intelligent paving robot. Integrating cutting-edge technologies such as 3D visual analysis, AI intelligent path planning, and high-precision robotic arms, the robot can pave over 100 pieces per hour. Its operation speed is 3.5-4 times that of traditional manual paving, reducing the labor intensity of workers, saving project costs, and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of photovoltaic project construction from traditional construction to intelligent construction.


The 17th World Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Industry Expo opens :
On August 8, the 17th World Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Industry Expo opened in Guangzhou. Well-known enterprises such as JinkoSolar, Aiko Solar, and GCL showed photovoltaic cells and modules with a conversion efficiency of more than 26%. GoodWe unveiled its independently developed latest generation of large-capacity energy storage batteries, with further improved energy density and significantly extended cycle life.
Hong Kong Polytechnic University improves the energy conversion efficiency of solar cells :
A research team from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University proposed an innovative double-layer interface passivation strategy and successfully developed high-efficiency perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells. Their energy conversion efficiency has been increased to 33.89%, breaking through the maximum energy conversion rate of single-junction solar cells proposed by the Shockley-Queisser limit (i.e., 33.7%) for the first time, and significantly improving long-term stability.
