Halloween 20241

History of Halloween

Halloween has its roots in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. They believe that October 31 is the end of summer and the beginning of winter, and the beginning of the New Year. On this day, they believe that the boundaries between the ghost world and the real world become blurred, and the dead will return to the human world to find the creatures, thereby regenerating. To drive away these evil spirits and protect themselves and their livestock, the Celts would light bonfires, wear strange costumes, and wear strange masks to drive away the evil spirits and pray for a good harvest in the coming year.
